Model Notes:

Raft prevents split-brain using strict majority quorums (3 out of 5 nodes).
Followers use randomized timeouts (150-300ms) to avoid overlapping elections.
Logs are never overwritten on committed entries; conflicts are resolved by matching the Leader's log history.
